At American Nickeloid, we have the ability to apply Fluorex® film to stainless steel and aluminum coils. Fluorex® is a PVDF laminate with superior abrasion resistance and excellent formability. Fluorex® is used in applications requiring extended weatherability such as exterior automotive trim. Multiple solid colors and metallic finishes are available in a range of gloss levels. Material testing, including adhesion and corrosion resistance, are performed according to ASTM standards as well as additional customer requirements. Fluorex® can be applied to coils between 0.008" to 0.097" thick with widths ranging from 12" to 60". Laminated coils can be slit or cut to specific lengths to meet customer requirements. Blanket order releases, kanbans, and JIT shipping schedules can be used to accommodate a range of production volume and lead time requirements.
